Hi! I’m Elodie.

I’m a book lover, self-publisher, translator, writer, and USA Today bestselling author of English romance novels. I hold a master’s degree in publication, journalism, and communication studies, and I’ve been immersed in storytelling for as long as I can remember.

I live in Austria, and German is my mother tongue, but I’ve always had a deep love for the English language. I published my first English novel in 2016 — just for fun, because I loved writing and wanted to give it a try. I never imagined it would take off, but against all odds (especially as English isn’t my native language), my debut novel A Flare of Hope became a huge success. That moment changed everything. I left my marketing job and dove headfirst into the world of writing and indie publishing.

Over time, other authors started reaching out to me, asking for German Book Translations. Many had disappointing experiences with agencies and wanted someone who understood how stories should feel. That’s when I realized how much I love being a literary translator for indie authors — helping authors bring their books to life in another language, with the same heart and soul they were written with.

Right now, I’m working on the German editions of TRANSFUSION, the fantasy/gothic/paranormal romance saga by international bestselling author Stephanie Hudson, founder of the publishing house Hudson Indie Ink.
