About me

Hi! I’m Elodie.

I’m a book lover, self-publisher, translator, writer, and USA Today bestselling author of English romance novels with a master’s degree in publication, journalism and communication studies.

I live in Austria, so my mother tongue is German, but I’ve always loved the English language. I published my first (English) book in 2016 – just for fun because I loved writing and wanted to give it a shot. I’ve never imagined having any success in this business, but against all odds, especially as English isn’t my mother tongue, my first book was a huge success (A Flare Of Hope, The Jaylior Series #1), and suddenly I said goodbye to my old marketing job and dove headfirst into the world of writing & publishing.

Over the years, lots of authors contacted me, asking me for German book translation services. They said they had bad experiences with translation agencies and wanted someone like me with the right “artistic license” for the job. Since then, I’ve put my focus on literary translation and helping authors to reach a wider audience with translated books. Currently, I’m working on the German versions of AFTERLIFE – a Fantasy/Gothic/Paranormal Romance saga, written by international bestselling author Stephanie Hudson, who is also the owner of the publishing house Hudson Indie Ink.
